The Law School maintains institutional accounts for faculty for both ExpressO and Scholastica.  These are both online submission management tools that enable you to submit an article to multiple law reviews at one time.

_______

ExpressO
‚ÄčThe Law School has a faculty-only institutional account with ExpressO. To use ExpressO you must have an individual account that is approved to submit under the Law School institutional account.

To Setup an Individual Account:

  • First, go to http://law.bepress.com/expresso/, click on My Account, and click the 'Sign Up' button to create an account.
  • Next, email Librarian Jessica Hanes (hanesjl@umich.edu) to request that your individual account be added to the Law School's institutional account. Once you receive confirmation from Jessica that you have been added to the Law School's institutional account, you may submit an article.

To Submit an Article:

Who Pays for This?

  • Each time you submit through ExpressO, the Law School institutional account is charged, and the Law School takes the funds from your faculty Cook Account.
  • If you do not have a faculty Cook Account or other similar research funds, you will receive a bill from the Law School.

How often can I submit articles?

  • You may submit through ExpressO as many times, or as frequently as you choose. If you exceed the funds in your faculty Cook Account or other research funds, you will receive a bill from the Law School for the additional amount.
