Self Scanning

Scans are free, and documents can be scanned directly to email or a USB drive. MLaw students may use their printing quota on the printers.

There are dedicated catalog searching terminals in the Law Library, and several dedicated legal research terminals on Sub-1 where students or anyone with a research pass may do research.

Printing

Please see our FAQ entry on wireless internet access and visit this page for more information about computers, printers, photocopiers, and scanners in the Law Library.

Public printing and copying is no longer available in the Law Library. Please see the Information Desk for assistance.

High Volume Scanning

The Law Library does not offer high-capacity scanning services. ITS used to have a photocopy services office located at the Law School, but it has not existed for several years. U-M Copy Services (https://printcopymail.umich.edu/contact.htm) may or may not handle high-capacity scanning.
