Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents began in 1965 and contains proclamations, executive orders, press releases, press conferences, messages to Congress, and speeches. Beginning January 20, 2009, these materials began being published as the Daily Compilation of Presidential Documents

The Public Papers of the President is the annual compilation of the Weekly Compilation, with certain omissions.
