Many legal dictionaries, including Black's Law Dictionary, Prince's Dictionary of Legal Abbreviations, and Elsevier's Legal Dictionary: In English, German, French, Dutch, and Spanish, are available in the Reference Collection on S-1.

To determine what dictionaries are available in the Law Library collection, perform an advanced search of the MLaw Catalog, and include the keyword "Dictionary." To locate only electronic dictionaries, select "Web" from the Location drop down menu.

If you are looking for a legal dictionary online, check out the Oxford Reference Library: Law database. This e-resource is a fully indexed, cross-searchable database of dictionaries, language reference, and subject reference works published by Oxford University Press on the subject of Law.

MLaw students also have access to Black's Law Dictionary in their Westlaw accounts. http://umil.iii.com/record=b2015272
